Dedicated to our beloved King of Pop, Michael Jackson, the greatest entertainer of all time and a true humanitarian.
Who was the real Michael Jackson? Endless authors have offered their own analyses and judgment. But one fact stands : only God and Michael Jackson himself know the truth. So, why not listen to the man himself instead of listening to or reading all those numerous and contradicting hearsays? You are all welcome to listen, read and watch what the King of Pop had to say. Spread this site to everyone you meet! You can watch more videos of MJ (his interviews, films, music, concerts ,etc) at our youtube tribute channel: megaheartmjtribute. The world should know the real Michael Jackson.
" There's so much garbage, so much trash that's written about me. It's so untrue. They're complete lies. The press has made up so much horrifying stories, completely appalling and so far from the truth. The more times you hear a lie, you begin to believe it. Read Moonwalk, read my book." "My purpose in life? To give in the best way I can - through songs, through dance and through music. I am committed to my art. I believe that all arts have an ultimate goal - the union between the material and the spiritual; the human and the divine. I thought I was chosen as an intrument to give music and love and harmony to the world - to children of all ages, and adults and teenagers." (Michael's own words during his interview by Oprah Winfrey in 1993).
In my darkest hour
In my deepest despair
Will you still care?
Will you be there?
In my trials and tribulations
Through our doubts and frustration
In my violence
In my turbulence
Through my fear and confessions
In my anguish and my pain
Through my joy and sorrow
In the promise of another tomorrow
I'll never let you part
For you're always in my heart
- Michael Jackson
Why do I make this tribute site for MJ? Because I'm tired of all those malicious articles/books/shows that ridicule, mock, insult, contradict and defame this greatest entertainer and true humanitarian we have ever known. I hate all those forums where people dissect and analyze Michael and his actions. I am disappointed on how wikipedia and those trivia and tv documentaries present Michael Jackson's life. How dare they state MJ's statements as "claims" while other people's statements as "facts". Who is more knowledgeable on Michael Jackson than Michael himself? Michael had endured throughout his life being mocked, ridiculed, falsely accused of by media mainstream, tabloids and even his fellow artists. But Michael remained humble and calm and continued to do what he deemed as his purpose in life: to give the people the best music and performances and to change the world for the better with various humanitarian activities. He had tried to clear questions about him during the Oprah interview in 1993 that was broadcast around the world. But still he was ignored; worse was that he was then accused of spreading these rumors himself. So, it was a no-win situation for MJ. Even after his death, still people continue with these mockeries/false allegations on MJ. There are so many people coming out claiming they have been officially endorsed by Michael. Never believe these so called MJ experts. There have been tapes released by a so-called MJ confidant. This is a great disrespect and injustice to Michael. First of all, those claiming to have first hand knowledge of MJ were just out to get their share of MJ spotlight; now that MJ is in demand, they rush to cash in and enrich themselves. Where were they when Michael was in his darkest hours? During his trial? This so called confidant was nowhere in MJ's sight; he was somewhere else joining the bandwagon of media anti-Michael Jackson. In fact, he condemned MJ even while the trial was still going on. Never believe these tapes. Everyone of us has his own downs - sometimes we need to air our grievances and cropped emotions - that's why we have the priests, the pastors, the rabbis, or our closest friend or even our shrink. With them we feel free to let go of our emotions but that does not mean we really meant what we said. We just burst out to get rid of the negativity. MJ had always said he had been cleansing himself. He needed this to reinvigorate himself and continue with his vision. Michael never planned to commit suicide - he had been raised a Jehova's Witness, he had a strong belief in God; he always cited Jesus in his interviews and speeches. And above all, he loved life, he said so himself. Michael turned to a number of spiritual advisors and two of them stood by him through thick and thin. They were there in his darkest hours to give him their spiritual support -they are Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton. Listen to what Rev. Al Sharpton says about Michael.
Al Sharpton's speech (some lines in his speech)
“It was Michael Jackson that brought blacks and whites and Asians and Latinos together. It was Michael Jackson that made us sing ‘we are the world,’ to feed the hungry long before Live Aid.”
“It was that comfort level that kids from Japan and Ghana and France and Iowa and Pennsylvania got comfortable enough with each other so later it wasn’t strange to us to watch Oprah on television,”
Michael made us love each other. Michael taught us to stand with each other. There are those that like to dig around mess. But millions around the world, we're going to uphold his message. It's not about mess, but it's about his love message. As you climb up steep mountains, sometimes you scar your knee; sometimes you break your skin. But don't focus on the scars, focus on the journey. Michael beat 'em, Michael rose to the top. He out-sang his cynics, he out-danced his doubters; he out-performed the pessimists. Every time he got knocked down, he got back up. Every time you counted him out, he came back in. Michael never stopped. Michael never stopped. Michael never stopped.
I want his three children to know: There was nothing strange about your Daddy. It was strange what your Daddy had to deal with. But he dealt with it...He dealt with it anyway. He dealt with it for us.
Thank you because you never stopped, thank you because you never gave up, thank you because you never gave out, thank you because you tore down our divisions. Thank you because you eradicated barriers. Thank you because you gave us hope. Thank you Michael. Thank you Michael. Thank you Michael! back to top
